What this site collects
This is a static portfolio. It has no user accounts, online orders, payment processing or comment system, and it does not ask you to submit personal information in order to browse.
- Technical data. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Like any web host, it processes network and technical data such as IP address, request time, browser and device information, and security events.
- Aggregate analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure page views and performance. It is designed to work without cookies and without tracking visitors across sites or building profiles.
When you contact me
If you email, phone or message me, I process the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message, to reply and discuss possible work. Email sent to [email protected] is received through Cloudflare Email Routing and delivered to my mailbox at Google (Gmail). The contact page form opens your own email application; nothing is sent to my servers until you send the email yourself.
If we work together
For a paid engagement I also process contract, invoicing and payment details (for example name or company, address, tax ID and bank details) and project correspondence. These are needed to perform the contract and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
Why and on what basis
- Delivering and securing the website, and diagnosing incidents: legitimate interests.
- Answering inquiries: legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- Performing a contract: necessary for the contract.
- Invoicing, tax and accounting records: legal obligations.
- Handling claims and disputes: establishing, exercising or protecting legal rights.

Providers and international processing
I use Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, email routing, analytics) and Google (mailbox). GitHub, Hugging Face and X process information under their own notices when you follow links to them. These providers operate internationally, so data can be processed outside Türkiye. Where personal data is transferred abroad, I rely on the mechanisms permitted by Turkish data-protection law. I do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Retention
Inquiry correspondence that does not lead to a contract is kept for up to three years after the last contact, then deleted. Contract, invoicing and accounting records are kept for the period required by Turkish tax and commercial law (five to ten years depending on the record type). Infrastructure and security logs are kept according to the provider's configuration.
Your rights
You have the rights listed in Article 11 of Law No. 6698, including learning whether your data is processed, requesting information, correction or deletion, and claiming compensation for unlawful processing. See the KVKK Privacy Notice for how to apply, or email [email protected].
Security and updates
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy and security headers. I update this policy when the site, providers or legal requirements change; the date above is the current version.
